PIB

This is a polyisobutene polymer. And its a kind of stable non-drying liquid and does not form a residue when volatilized or thermally decomposed at high temperatures. Its resistant to oxidation, impermeable to water vapour and is hydrophobic. Its used as a 2T-oil additive and a raw material of dispersant. Its also used in lubricant, rubber, electric insulation etc.
